I don't think many people can say that they go to school, play a sport, have an amazing support system and each day think how grateful they are for the life they have. I am that person. Just about two years into this thing called college and I am finally feeling like I belong. I have so much to learn from this place and the people here.
I had the amazing privilege to have Brit come and spend a week with me here at GU. This was after a great week of discovering what everyday life is like for her. I loved every minute with her in Greeley. But after the year I had I just wanted her to see how much I had grown into my life. And it didn't take long for her to see how much I come alive here. This is my place and these are my people.
I have so much to prove. Growing up is and will be the hardest thing I am going through. As much as it frustrates me it isn't going away. But instead of fearing it I have decided to face it head on.
Bring it on!
But here is a little update:
Volleyball is great, I was told that I would be challenged in the spring. Consider challenge conquered!
School is going to get better as soon as I declare my major. Environmental Studies :)
Yes there is a boy, but that is all I will say.
I have a great best friend here, Hannah and she is amazing. Can't wait to have her meet my family!
I signed my lease for the house I will be living in next year. AKA no more cog food!!
But that is all I can think of.
Here are a few quotes from my new favorite book that Grandma Kitty gave me for my trip back from winter break.
